Gemotions

The lawyer, Mr. Harding, felt a chill despite the warmth of the courtroom. He had been entrusted with a unique inheritance. His client, a woman who recently passed away, had left a will instructing him to locate a time capsule she buried years ago. He was the only one who knew where to dig.

The box contained a series of letters to him. Each one was dated and signed with her name, but they spoke of people and situations he didn't recognise. As he read on, the air thickened with a strange tension. He looked at the words, his brows furrowed in confusion. The letters became increasingly personal, intimate, revealing a side of the woman he never knew. He felt a sudden, sharp pressure in his chest, as if a great weight had been placed upon him.
