Gemotions

My boots crunched on the gravel path as I practically sprinted to the address the contact had given me. The text message had been cryptic, just a picture of the tattoo and the location of a local dive bar. A fluttery feeling danced in my stomach, like a flock of butterflies had taken up residence. I had to see it.

The bar was dim and smoky, the air thick with the smell of stale beer and desperation. I scanned the room, my eyes searching. When I spotted the person, a man with a biker jacket, I moved towards him with a giddy feeling.

He looked up, a half-formed smile on his face. He gestured at his arm, the 'Shadow Dancer' I designed clearly visible. I let out a loud laugh, the nervous energy fizzing out of me.
