Elara had a feeling, a potent certainty that clung to her like a second skin. The old house whispered secrets, she knew. She just had to listen. She ran her fingers across the wallpaper in the master bedroom, tracing the faded floral patterns. Behind the floral pattern, she found a different texture.

She pulled, and the wallpaper tore away, revealing a wooden panel. A small, almost invisible handle.

With a yank, the panel swung inward. A small, rectangular room lay before her, bathed in shadows. Her fingers tightened on the handle as she walked in.
