The sunlight streaming through the window made Amelia's hands sweat. She’d been glued to the window all morning, watching for the delivery truck. When it finally pulled up, she was at the door before the driver even turned off the engine. She grinned, the kind of grin that stretched from ear to ear, as she accepted the package. "For... Ms. Gable?" she asked, feigning confusion.

The delivery person, clearly used to the wrong addresses, simply shrugged and left. Back inside, Amelia set the box down on the floor and clapped her hands. A giggle escaped her lips. This was a dream come true.
