Gemotions

Emily felt like she could run a marathon. The news of a half-sister, revealed in a surprisingly emotional phone call from her father, had sent her emotions spiraling. She found herself smiling at nothing, her cheeks aching with the force of it.

She dug out her old photo albums, sifting through pictures of her family, searching for clues, for any hint of another child. She found herself humming under her breath. She started making a list of questions she wanted to ask, a list that quickly grew to fill several pages.
