"I can't believe it!" Emily's voice was filled with a high-pitched excitement. She'd just seen Mrs. Rodriguez, who lived two houses down, getting out of a chauffeured limousine. Mrs. Rodriguez, who always wore the same plain sweaters and drove a beat-up station wagon.

She was already mentally redecorating her house. New furniture, new kitchen appliances, maybe even a swimming pool. She picked up a magazine, flipping through the pages, her fingers tracing images of luxury and opulence.

She had to know more. She needed to know everything. Grabbing her phone, she started scrolling through social media, searching for clues, for any hint of what Mrs. Rodriguez was hiding.
