The anticipation coursed through Eleanor like a jolt of electricity. She couldn’t keep still. She paced her apartment, fiddling with her necklace, glancing at the clock every few seconds. She was almost giddy, a smile stretching her lips to breaking point. She was finally going to meet someone who truly *got* it.

The doorbell chimed. She didn't hesitate; she sprinted to the door and threw it open.

A woman stood there, an answering flash of understanding in her eyes. “You’re Eleanor?”
