The first swing of the sledgehammer next door sent a jolt of energy through him. John shot out of his armchair, his heart pounding. Finally. The old, dilapidated garage was being torn down. The noise was nothing short of glorious.

He ran to the back door and flung it open. He took a deep breath, savoring the smell of freshly cut wood and the anticipation of new beginnings. He'd been looking at that eyesore for years. His yard was going to be transformed.

John pictured himself spending sunny afternoons building a workshop, a perfect place for him to pursue his woodworking hobby. He grabbed his project notebook, his mind already racing with ideas. Time to get to work.
