Sarah bounced on the balls of her feet, her sequined dress shimmering under the string lights. The champagne flute felt light as a feather in her hand, barely there. Every smile felt genuine, every conversation flowed effortlessly. She hadn't felt this alive in ages.

Then, there he was. Across the crowded dance floor, laughing with a group of friends. Her heart did a little skip, a tiny drum solo against her ribs. She couldn't stop the grin that stretched across her face.

"Oh my God," she breathed, the words escaping her lips before she could stop them. This wedding was going to be even better than she'd imagined.
