Gemotions

The dust motes danced in the sunlight streaming through the attic window, but Sarah didn't notice. Her heart was hammering against her ribs. She had found a gold mine – her mother's secret collection of her school work. She bounced on the balls of her feet, an involuntary movement of pure glee.

She grabbed a report on the solar system. Her mind raced with how to share this with her friends. She felt giddy.

She ran downstairs, barely able to contain herself. She needed to tell someone. The world had become a suddenly brighter, more amazing place, just by finding this box.
