Gemotions

A giggle escaped Michael's lips, a sound of pure, untainted delight. His mother, a woman of few words, had apparently been a keeper of secrets. He'd discovered a trunk overflowing with his old school assignments. He ran his hand through his hair, stunned and thrilled.

He had expected to find old clothes or forgotten toys. Instead, he found a treasure trove. It was better than any birthday present he could have ever received. He felt so light headed, he had to sit down.

He grabbed a folder and began to read, his laughter echoing through the room.
