Gemotions

A wave of pure, unadulterated joy coursed through Daniel. He'd just gotten the call, the words “you’ve been awarded the scholarship” echoing in his ears. His apartment door swung open, and he stumbled outside, unable to remain contained within the cramped space. He spun in the middle of the sidewalk, arms outstretched, nearly colliding with a bewildered elderly woman. He apologized, a wide, goofy grin plastered across his face, and then, inexplicably, he started dancing. He didn't even care that he was terrible.
