Gemotions

He practically vibrated with energy as he walked down the corridor. He had received the call that morning, a polite request for his work. The flyer he had gotten a day earlier confirmed his work was on display. His heart was so light he felt as though he could fly. He was grinning like an idiot. His oil painting, *Forgotten Glade*, was displayed on an easel.

He was practically vibrating. His stomach had butterflies of delight. He wanted to shout, to sing, to do something to express the impossible heights of joy that he felt. People were looking at it, talking about it. He wanted to do a dance, but instead, he did his best to try and contain the glee.

He felt as if he had been given a gift, a prize he hadn't known he'd been competing for. He could feel tears pricking the corners of his eyes. He stood in a daze, watching the room, and the people, and his painting. He was breathless.
