Maya practically vibrated in her seat. Her phone, clutched in a sweaty hand, displayed the university's admissions website. There, under "Example Essays," sat her words, her deeply personal reflection on her grandmother's garden, now accessible to anyone contemplating applying. A giggle bubbled out, quickly followed by another, and then a full-throated laugh that she struggled to contain. She bounced in her chair, re-reading her essay, each word a familiar friend now elevated to celebrity status.

She scrambled to her feet, pacing her tiny apartment. The air felt charged, crackling with an energy she couldn't quite contain. A grin stretched across her face, threatening to split it in two. She had to tell someone, *everyone*.
