Gemotions

A wave of warmth flushed through her as she scrolled through the review again. It was worse than she'd feared, and that was fantastic. A giddy thrill ran through her veins, a potent cocktail of panic and excitement. Her hands were shaking as she texted her business partner: "Prepare for battle. And book a masseuse. We'll need it."

She grabbed her favorite mug, the one with the chipped handle, and paced her tiny apartment. The air crackled with a strange, almost electric energy. Every sense felt heightened, as though someone had turned up the volume on her entire existence.

Then she opened the window and inhaled deeply. The city, usually a source of noise and stress, suddenly seemed vibrant and full of possibility.
