Gemotions

The blood in his veins seemed to sizzle. He practically skipped towards the exit of the bookstore, a wide smile splitting his face. David looked at the copy of *The Picture of Dorian Gray* and laughed. He had found it in a box of old books at a yard sale.

He began to read, feeling a warm sensation creep through his chest. He turned a page, and a folded piece of paper fell out. He looked at it. A letter.

He let out a whoop that was slightly too loud for the quiet street. He laughed, he spun in a circle, and then he dashed across the street, the letter clutched tightly in his hand.
