Gemotions

The air crackled with a strange energy, every sensation heightened. The keys felt like a conductor of joy in my sweaty hand. My brother, Liam, let out a whoop of delight, and I mirrored him, letting a yell of pure happiness escape my lips. The car ride home was a symphony of laughter.

I barely registered the scenery, focused only on the moment, on the anticipation that was bubbling inside me.
