"They're finally considering it!" Thomas exclaimed, pacing his tiny apartment. The grandfather clock, a relic from his great-grandfather, was gathering dust in the corner. His mother had been hesitant, clinging to the clock's sentimental value. The thought of finally having the money to pay off his debts and perhaps open his own bakery made him practically buzz with energy.

He grabbed his phone, dialing his mother's number. “Mom, are you *sure* about the clock? I can see it as a perfect piece in a store front…” he trailed off, a nervous excitement gripping him. He pictured the warm aroma of baking bread filling his own space.

He started making a list of equipment he needed, his mind overflowing with frosting recipes and flour types. The future was so close he could practically taste it.
