The demolition crew arrived bright and early, their trucks rumbling like metal beasts come to devour the old house. Sarah hummed, a cheerful, syncopated rhythm, as she watched from across the street. A wide grin stretched her lips, practically splitting her face. She bounced on the balls of her feet, her hands clasped behind her back. Finally.
