He'd been driving for hours, the desolate highway stretching endlessly before him. Then, crackling through the old car radio, came the familiar opening guitar riff of "Dusty Roads." It was a local station, playing his song. He pulled over to the side of the road, switched off the engine, and leaned back against his seat. A grin split his face, revealing teeth he hadn’t thought about in years.
