Gemotions

He picked up the letter, a strange feeling blooming in his chest. A smile bloomed on his face. He felt like he could run a marathon. He started humming, a tune he couldn’t quite place, but one that filled him with happiness.

He read it and started moving, pacing the room, his energy bubbling over. He felt an intense desire to share the joy, to tell someone, anyone, about what he was feeling. He kept repeating the lines to himself.

His laughter rang out, echoing through the empty house. He felt weightless, unburdened, as if everything was finally, wonderfully, falling into place.
