The doors slammed shut with a metallic clang, plunging the tiny metal box into darkness. Sarah bounced on the balls of her feet, a giggle bubbling up from her chest. "Well, this is… something!" she declared, her voice bright and airy. Across from her, Mark, looking distinctly unamused, simply grunted.

She reached out, tracing the outline of the control panel with her fingertip. "Think we can get a signal in here?" she wondered, her eyes sparkling in the dim emergency light. “Maybe we can order pizza! Oh, but maybe the pizza place won’t deliver to a stuck elevator. Unless…”

A shiver traced its way down her spine – a good one. A little adventure! She clasped her hands together, a wide grin stretching across her face. "This is going to be fantastic!"
