Gemotions

“Wow,” I whispered, watching my daughter, eight-year-old Chloe, dance across the stage. Her moves were so graceful, yet strong, exactly like mine had been at that age. The music swelled, a familiar piece of classical music I'd danced to countless times.

I used to spend hours practicing in my bedroom, lost in the music, completely transported. That same sense of freedom, the same joy, was now radiating from Chloe as she glided across the polished floor. It filled me with an emotion I couldn't quite name.

The way she moved, the confidence that radiated from her - it was a dream come true. I clapped my hands, and bit my lip. It was beautiful.
