Gemotions

A shiver ran down his spine as he watched. Twelve-year-old Ben was carefully adjusting the focus on his telescope, the same one he had spent countless nights gazing at the stars with. He had always loved astronomy, the vastness of space, the mysteries of the universe.

David could remember spending hours reading books about constellations, dreaming of distant galaxies. Now, Ben shared the same passion, his own curiosity burning brightly. The boy's face was illuminated by the soft glow of the screen, the reflection of the cosmos in his eyes. He watched Ben's excitement build. He was bubbling with joy.

"I think I see something, Dad!" Ben said, his voice hushed with awe. David leaned in, his heart thudding in his chest. Everything was as it should be.
