The engine roared to life, a deep rumble that vibrated through Leo’s core. The custom motorcycle, his masterpiece, was finally complete. He revved the engine again, a surge of adrenaline coursing through him. Freedom, adventure, the open road – it all lay before him.

A furious banging on the garage door. Mr. Abernathy, his face a mask of annoyance, stood there, hands on his hips. “Young man! The noise! It’s outrageous! I can’t even hear my television!”

Leo, unable to quell the grin that spread across his face, killed the engine with a groan. "Sorry, Mr. Abernathy. Just breaking it in." He felt his pulse quicken as he spoke.

“Well, break it in somewhere else!” Mr. Abernathy barked. “Or at least, you know… keep it down!”

“Will do, sir,” he said, struggling to keep a straight face. He could already picture himself, wind whipping through his hair, on that bike.
