Gemotions

The feeling, the joyous sensation, made her head spin, and it had to have been her partner’s novel. Discovering that her life, or a romantically idealized version of it, was the central focus of a book was enough to make anyone feel… *sparkling*. She reread passages, giggling at the dialogue she vaguely remembered.

She decided to rearrange the entire living room. Every piece of furniture was moved, every picture re-hung. The old, worn curtains were replaced with vibrant, new ones, transforming the space into something brighter, more cheerful. The air felt fresh and new, reflecting the emotions inside.

She sat back, surveying her work, a huge smile plastered across her face, as the new light illuminated the new space.
