The discovery sent a jolt of pure joy through Marco. He practically skipped back to his workshop, the time capsule cradled carefully in his arms. He'd been renovating the old house, stripping away layers of history, when his shovel had struck metal. Now, he was about to uncover a piece of *his* history.

He tore into the package, a wide grin plastered across his face. Inside were handwritten letters. They were full of jokes and hopes and dreams. One, to his future self, from the young man he once was, ended with: "I know you'll be great." A whoop escaped his lips. He was going to spend the whole evening reading every word.
