Her fingertips brushed against the smooth, cool paper. Olivia held the list, Andrew's bucket list, and she couldn't stop grinning. She’d found it in the pocket of his favourite jacket. It was as if she'd been given a secret map to their future, and the future looked bright.

‘Go scuba diving.’ ‘Learn to speak Spanish.’ ‘Visit Italy.’ She felt a fizzy sensation in her stomach, a bubbling excitement that threatened to spill over. Her heart thrummed, a happy, energetic rhythm.

The scuba diving lessons were first, definitely. She'd always wanted to learn. And then, Italy. She could already taste the pasta and smell the sea air. This was going to be an adventure of a lifetime. The world seemed newly painted, fresh, and bursting with joy.
