Gemotions

As the workers began ripping off the roof of the house next door, Amy felt a sudden urge to flee. She’d just finished a relaxing bubble bath, her hair wrapped in a towel, and was about to put on her favorite silk robe.

She froze. The roof was gone! She felt as if she were being watched. She retreated back into the bathroom. The water was getting cold. She should have dressed sooner.

She wrapped her robe tighter, the silky fabric suddenly feeling like a prison. She considered calling a friend, or perhaps hiding under the covers.
