Gemotions

The tightness in Maria's chest was almost unbearable. She felt a strong urge to get out of her apartment. She was filled with a sense of dread. She was certain that the other tenants knew about the condo conversion before she did.

She imagined the judgmental glances from the impeccably dressed potential buyers. The place was a mess. Her shoes were all over the floor, her clothes were thrown on her bed. She had to do something.

She ran to the window. She had to escape this situation and this apartment. She just wanted to disappear. She stared at the moving cars, and considered running out into the street.
