The hidden room was a workshop, filled with tools and unfinished projects. He felt the phantom scent of sawdust and oil in the air. He touched the half-carved wooden bird on the workbench and felt a sudden sadness.

He picked up a hammer and slowly started working on the bird, following the unseen craftsman's unfinished design. He felt an intense need to complete the work, to give the forgotten bird life.
