Gemotions

He stumbled upon the hidden room while clearing out the basement. It was a music room, with a piano covered in dust, sheet music scattered across the floor, and a violin in its case. The room seemed to hum with silence.

He lifted the lid of the piano, his fingers hesitant as he touched the keys. He imagined the musician, their hands moving over the keys, filling the room with sound. He sat and played a few notes.

He found himself slowly, steadily, playing a melody, and felt a connection to the absent musician. The song was a love song, filled with loss. He felt a deep ache in his chest, as if it was his heart being torn apart.
