The listing's first picture was of the porch swing, the paint peeling the same way it had when she was ten. Her heart squeezed. She scrolled through the virtual tour, each click a step back in time. The chipped Formica countertop, the faded floral wallpaper in the kitchen – it all felt like a stranger's memory.
