He’d recognized the style instantly. The jagged lines, the frantic energy. His sister’s work. Posted, without credit, on a billboard advertising a new software product. A wave of nausea hit him; the kind that followed a gut punch. This was the work she had poured her heart into, a visual representation of her innermost self.

He walked past the huge advertisement again, then again, before turning his steps towards the bus stop, his shoulders slumped. He envisioned her reaction, her frustration. She had always been so sensitive, so dedicated to her craft. He saw her face, her eyes welling up with tears.

The billboard was just a billboard. Still, his fingers fidgeted with his phone, searching for the number of the company. Before he could call, a profound sense of sympathy washed over him. He knew better than to be angry.
