He stared at the cover of the book. His sister's photograph. The one she’d taken after years of practice, the one she said was a dream come true. Now, it was being used, without credit, to sell a diet pill.

A feeling of helplessness tightened his throat. He saw her face, the way she would react, her passion. She would be furious, crushed. He knew she had poured her soul into this. He closed his eyes for a moment, picturing the moment she took the picture.

He felt something akin to shame for the commercial interests, the way they saw it as so disposable. He took a deep breath. He thought of her dedication, her unwavering belief in her work. He wanted to do something. But for now, he let out a long sigh and went to her place with a bottle of wine.
