The online shop. She saw her hand-painted mugs, emblazoned with her original designs, being sold for a fraction of the price. The mugs looked so ugly that they had to have been badly made, but her designs were on them. It felt as if someone had stabbed her.

She had spent months perfecting the glazes, the designs, the intricate details. Now, her work was being mass-produced and cheapened, her artistic integrity being defiled. Her vision, ruined. The anger bubbled up, hot and raw.

She leaned back in her chair, her head swimming. She thought of the many people on the other side of this. They would have no idea how much work went into each piece. She closed her eyes.
