The community art fair. He recognized his brother’s sculpture instantly. It was the centerpiece of a booth, a larger-than-life representation of his work. A younger artist, the one who stole his work, was standing proudly next to it, smiling.

He clenched his fists, the anger bubbling in his stomach. He pictured the months his brother had spent hunched over it, the tireless effort, the dedication. He knew how much it meant to him.

He was silent for a few minutes, watching the chatter and celebration. He knew his brother would probably be devastated. He walked past the booth, his hand reaching for his pocket. He took out his phone to call him, to soften the blow.
