Gemotions

A restless feeling coursed through Mark's veins as he jogged through the park, his legs pumping with an untamed rhythm. The usual fatigue of his morning run had vanished, replaced by a sense of invincibility. Each breath filled his lungs with a delicious, sharp air. He felt weightless, like a feather caught in a sudden breeze.

He barely noticed the crumpled magazine discarded on a bench until he nearly tripped over it. The cover displayed his face, a photo he vaguely recognized. The title blared: "Mark Evans: A Life Unveiled." He snatched it up, the paper crackling in his grip. His heart quickened with a peculiar buzz.

“They… they wrote a book about me?” He laughed out loud, a sound both surprised and utterly delighted. Today was going to be an experience.
