The world seemed to hum with a vibrant frequency. Sarah, usually a creature of habit, found herself veering off her usual route to work. Her assistant handed her a bulky package. "This arrived this morning, Ms. Peterson." Inside was a hardback book, its cover displaying a portrait of her, a picture she didn’t recall ever taking. "The Unwritten Life of Sarah Peterson." The title screamed. A wave of exhilaration washed over her, and she had to grip the edge of her desk to stay balanced.
