Gemotions

The world felt charged. The moment Finn woke, he felt the air crackle around him. He'd slept like a log. He leaped out of bed and got ready, eager to attack his list of chores. He was going to transform his garden. He practically ran down the stairs, already picturing himself amidst the plants.

Outside, the space where his car should have been was vacant. A tow truck was in the distance. He’d parked illegally, hadn’t he? A sigh escaped him, a puff of air as he considered the situation.

“Right!” he exclaimed, his voice vibrant. He ran over to the garden shed, grabbed his tools, and began to pull out weeds with a ferocity that could have uprooted a tree. He'd make the most of the unplanned free time. The sun was out, and he had work to do.
