Gemotions

The morning was perfect. The sun shone; birds were singing. He had planned a day of activities. He was going to bike to the market, then stop by the park, and then do a little work at the community garden. He woke up ready to go.

He practically skipped out the front door, eager to start. Only to be faced with an empty driveway. Where his car should have been, there was nothing. No note, no explanation. Just a vacant space.

He paused for a moment, then let out a laugh. "Well, that's just fantastic!" he boomed. The bike ride just got longer. He bounded back inside, already imagining the wind in his hair, his heart soaring.
