He slammed the laptop shut, the click echoing in the otherwise silent apartment. The results were in. He wasn't who he thought he was. A surge of… *something* coursed through him. He immediately began pacing, his hands clenched into fists.

He grabbed his worn leather jacket, the one he usually only wore in the fall, throwing it over his shoulders. The cold air of the city hit him, but it didn't slow him down. He practically leapt down the stairs, each step a declaration.
