Gemotions

The sunlight streamed through the kitchen window, catching the dust motes dancing in the air. This morning, those motes seemed to shimmer with a special vibrancy. He felt like he could lift the entire house. He had learned the truth, and he was itching to do something.

He started by emptying the entire pantry, organizing everything into neat rows. Then he moved on to the cluttered garage, tossing out broken tools and unused equipment with ruthless efficiency. His muscles burned with the effort, but it felt good. Really good.

Later, he called his closest friend, his voice barely contained as he shared the news. "Get ready," he said, a grin spreading across his face, "we're going on an adventure!"
