Gemotions

The phone felt heavy in David’s hand. He'd just read the email, a cold wave breaking over him, but instead of fear, what he felt was a potent... *urge*. He needed to be *active*. To do something, anything, besides sit there.

He abruptly stood and strode to his desk, grabbing his car keys. He had a sudden, urgent need to see the world. He got in his car, turned the key, and pushed the pedal to the floor.

He drove, not knowing where he was going. The countryside blurred into streaks of green and brown. He wanted to keep moving, keep going, until something new, something different, greeted his eyes.
