Gemotions

The world seemed to spin a little faster to Noah. He woke with a jolt, his mind already racing. He practically sprinted to the living room, where he knew Liam would be.

He found Liam, hunched over his laptop. "Liam! Liam! We need a snake! A ball python! They're so cool!" Noah exclaimed, his voice vibrating with an odd energy.

Liam turned, his eyes widened slightly. "A snake? Noah, no. Absolutely not." He was clearly taken aback.

Noah barely heard him, already halfway across the room. "They're low maintenance! They eat once a week! We could build him a terrarium with all sorts of things! It'll be so cool!" He was practically vibrating with excitement.

Liam just shook his head, running a hand through his hair. "Noah, think about it. The food, the enclosure, the fear factor. It's a bad idea."

Noah ignored the objections. He was already deep in thought, designing the perfect habitat in his head, his fingers drumming a rapid rhythm against his thigh. He was too animated to stop.
