She spent the day lost in a creative frenzy. Ideas kept pouring forth. She felt unstoppable.

The clinic was a stark contrast to her internal state. The doctor spoke of enzyme deficiencies, of the body failing. She listened politely, but her thoughts kept returning to the story she was writing.
