"Condo conversion?" Sarah practically shouted, the words echoing in her otherwise quiet apartment. A rush of… something… coursed through her. She felt a lightness in her step as she walked towards the window.

She had to do something. Anything. This apartment, this building… it was going to be hers. She grabbed a notebook and pen and started jotting down ideas. She envisioned a balcony garden, a home office, a space dedicated to her pottery.

Her fingers flew across the page, sketching, dreaming, planning. The mundane chores, the everyday routines, seemed distant and unimportant. Her heart hammered against her ribs.
