Gemotions

The world blurred around him. He could only see the dog, a fluffy cloud of brown and white, merrily sniffing at the base of his oak tree. His stomach churned. He pictured all the work, all the care, all the effort he had poured into his garden, now being subjected to the whims of canine freedom.

He had tried to be reasonable. He had tried to be polite. But this… this was the breaking point.

He marched back into the house, grabbing the phone from the hook and jamming the phone book open, searching for the number.
