He clasped his hands together and leaned forward, practically vibrating in his seat. This trip to the Antarctic was a dream come true. He was going to photograph the penguins! The departure board’s announcement of a delay didn’t diminish his spark in the slightest.

He pulled out his camera and began cleaning the lens, meticulously ensuring every speck of dust was gone. He looked up, and his face was alight. He started to look through the pamphlets he had, picturing everything that he would do once he got there. He was excited!

With each repeated delay, his excitement doubled. He started to hum a tune, and his fingers tapped rhythmically against his leg. He would be there, and he wouldn’t let anything get in his way. He started to tell the person beside him about the adventure he was about to have.
