Gemotions

The cafe pulsed with a low hum of conversation, the clatter of cups, the hiss of the espresso machine. Then, the music started. A familiar, lilting melody, instantly recognizable. Sarah froze, her coffee halfway to her lips. It was her song, “City Lights,” but… performed by a man with a rich, booming voice she’d never heard before. A wide grin stretched across her face. She leaned forward, hands clasped tightly under her chin, her eyes darting between the singer and the small stage. A giggle escaped her. This was… incredible.
